Caregiver Direct is looking for compassionate people looking to make a difference in their communities. We have several openings for Home Health Aides (HHA’s) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) who can provide companion support and caring assistance for seniors to allow them to stay in their homes safely, with their friends and family. It’s important work, and we’re looking for caring individuals willing to help.
Enables clients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families.
We are filling a variety of shifts to accommodate the personal needs of the caregiver. This is an excellent opportunity for workers with families and other personal obligations. Monitors client condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise.
Supports clients by providing light housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food and other household requirements, preparing and serving meals and snacks, and running errands.
Assists clients by assisting with personal services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Helps clients care for themselves by teaching the use of cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques, and equipment for personal hygiene.
Advises on nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
Records client information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying nursing supervisors of changing or unusual conditions.
Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments and career growth.
Training is available – experience is not always required.
CNA’s to assist with bathing, dressing, ambulation, and checking vital signs.
